Web Design Process
 PHASE 1: Analysis & Planning -
The initial phase of the web design process involves the setting of objectives and defining needs and goals for the web site. What are your objectives? Who is your target market? What results do you want the website to achieve? Once these questions are answered, decisions can be made about what functionality and technological solutions are required such as contact forms, shopping carts, etc.
Text and graphic content must then be gathered before most work can begin on the site. A Content Checklist can be prepared to assist you in pulling together the necessary text and any graphics or logos you want to include. Website Beach can provide all photos and graphics if you so choose.
PHASE 2: Graphic Design - At this stage of the web design process, the overall concept of the web site's look, style and organization is established and a final design is chosen. We typically create 3 demo hompage designs based upon the content, needs, and preferences provided. We then upload the designs to our server on the Internet where the client can view them. The client's feedback is solicited, and a final design is made based on the client’s suggestions and critiques. The design phase will not end until the client is completely happy with a final design.
PHASE 3: Programming and Development - The site will then be coded using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. PHP, Flash and other advanced applications may also be required. The client will monitor their projects’ progress and participate in the development by giving feedback and requesting corrections. The site will also be optimized for search engines using proper coding techniques so when your prospective customer queries your selected keywords, your site will have a higher search engine ranking and positioning. This is done by using Targeted keyword research, Search engine friendly web design, proper keyword placement and Search engine submissions.
PHASE 4: Final Approval & Launch - When development is complete, the client will “test drive” the site to ensure satisfaction with the final product. Once the client has approved the final site, payment will be made and then the site will be uploaded to its domain site and officially go live.
